Miguel dos Santos Pereira is a Portuguese lawyer and independent scholar whose work explores how contemporary models of the mind reshape our understanding of responsibility, judgement and institutional decision-making across normative systems.

His research focuses on the critical analysis of judicial practices in light of contemporary cognitive science, with particular attention to the epistemological limits of evidence and the foundations of criminal responsibility.
